“ I made a reservation here for dinner during my trip, and I think it was truly a great choice. I wanted to have seafood, and I was able to enjoy it in various ways. Every dish I ordered was absolutely delicious. It was such a happy moment to have such a wonderful time during my trip. I especially want to mention that the staff were incredibly friendly and gentle, which made the experience even better. ”
“ Wow. I wish I could give more stars. The food was fresh and inventive and delish! The service was impeccable. The vibes cozy. I traveled from Arizona and happened upon this beautiful place and am so glad I did. I'll be visiting again in 5 months and will be back! ”
“ Went to Dulse as it came highly recommended for fish dishes - a recommendation I can pass on! From a very good choice of seafood we ordered a starter and a main each and were very happy with quality of the food. Creative mixing of ingredients and a neat presentation made for an excellent dinner, which was complemented by superbly friendly staff. S great evening out! ”
“ A truly lovely meal! It was our first time visiting Dulse, me and my partner celebrated my birthday as well as our anniversary and they really didn’t disappoint. We were seated on a beautiful table next to the window, the servers were extremely attentive, but not too invasive which I was very happy about. We started with oysters, trout, octopus and mussels - they all were reasonably sized and very delicious. I am not a big fan of cooked fish myself, however the truffle cod was a very pleasant surprise and I truly wish I ordered another one Overall a great experience and a perfect spot for a special dinner! ”
“ We were in for the week from Florida and had the tasting menu. Every course was nice but several were exceptionally memorable. The amuse bouche, mussels, and langoustines (18 supplement) in particular were very memorable. The bread was possibly the best bread we had all week. The service was fine but maybe just not quite as good as some of the other great restaurants we’ve been in Edinburgh. ”
“ Highly recommend. Food here is incredible, the mussels crumpet was a particular favourite! We also enjoyed the special turbot that was on offer and tried all the sides. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Our server austine was lovely. We had a beautiful view of the corner of the castle as well. ”
“ wonderful dining experience for a very special occasion. we were lucky enough to get window seating, too! short, concise menu and a knowledgeable staff who didnt mind all my questions about the food... starters were creative and main courses really showed off the flavors of the produce. the two deserts we ordered was a wonderful combination of sweet and sour, hot and cold, soft and crunchy... a nice bottle of wine and a glass of whisky certainly helped;-) ”
“ The service was top notch. Noah and Bilhal were outstanding and made us feel special. We had the Black Friday Tasting Menu. I had forgotten to put my allergies on the notes when I booked, but the chef and kitchen made special dishes to accommodate on the fly. The decor is warm and inviting with a beautiful colour palette. All in all it was a great experience. Will 100% be back! ”
